Whats with all the "Bath Salt" usage?

I remember in high school we would smoke weed and do shrooms, sometimes LSD if it was available.

What the fuck is wrong with kids now???

or people I mean.

Why would anyone do a drug that will make you act like your possessed?

UFC 148 Weigh-In Results (VIDEO)

The final hump for UFC middleweights Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen to get over arrived in the form of tonight’s UFC 148 weigh-ins where both men made weight for their main event meeting before squaring off for what was as predicted another intense staredown. This past Tuesday, divisional champ Silva forced Sonnen backward after going chest-to-chest and had to be held back by UFC President Dana White in order to ensure things didn’t get out of hand.

Things, however, got physical this time around with Silva delivering a shoulder-bump when the two went toe-to-toe after each hitting their weight-related marks. The move was a tipping point for the 8,000+ in attendance who went from splitting their cheers/boos between the fighters to showering “The Spider” with their disapproval.

Also worth noting, today’s festivities also marked the final appearance of soon-to-be Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz on the scale, as the former light heavyweight champ is set to retire after his co-headlining clash Forrest Griffin.

Footage from the weigh-ins followed by complete breakdown of weights can be found below:

Rafaello Oliveira (156 lbs) vs. Yoislandy Izquierdo (156 lbs)
Shane Roller (155 lbs) vs. John Alessio (156 lbs)
Constantinos Philppou (186 lbs) vs. Riki Fukuda (185 lbs)
Gleison Tibau (155 lbs) vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov (155 lbs)
Melvin Guillard (155 lbs) vs. Fabricio Camoes (156 lbs)
Ivan Menjivar (136 lbs) vs. Mike Easton (135 lbs)
Chad Mendes (146 lbs) vs. Cody McKenzie (145 lbs)
Dong Hyun Kim (170 lbs) vs. Demian Maia (170 lbs)
Cung Le (185 lbs) vs. Patrick Cote (185 lbs)
Forrest Griffin (204 lbs) vs. Tito Ortiz (204 lbs)
Anderson Silva (184 lbs) vs. Chael Sonnen (185 lbs)

Honestly, I feel like Tito/Forrest 3 and Sonnen/Silva 2 didn't live up to the hype

The whole card just felt like a waste. We all knew about Mendes steamrolling meth cooker guy, Silva was going to beat Sonnen, and so forth.

Rumor: Kawajiri Headed to One FC

Tatsuya KawajiriAt the tail end of what has been a huge week for One FC, who picked up both Bibiano Fernandes and Shinya Aoki, it would appear that there is little sign of slowing down for the young promotion when it comes to bringing new talent to the company cage. Recent reports suggest that ultra-popular Japanese veteran Tatsuya Kawajiri may be headed to One FC.

While pen as not met paper, sources close to the situation insist that Kawajiri is in “very deep negotiations” with the company based out of Singapore and should sign “very soon”.

One of the most prominent figures in Japanese MMA for years, Kawajiri spent much of his career at lightweight, taking on the likes Eddie Alvarez, Shinya Aoki, Takanori Gomi, Josh Thomson, JZ Cavalcante, and Gilbert Melendez.

It was a gut-wrenching loss to Melendez in a Strikeforce Championship bout that would send Kawajiri to the featherweight division, where he currently resides. Now 3-0 as a 145 lb fighter, “Crusher” has shown that his skills match-up very well with the division. Kawajiri’s run has seen him finish his two final DREAM bouts against perennial top competitors Joachim Hansen and Kazuyuki Miyata by arm-triangle choke. His most recent outing was a one-off appearance at One FC 3 in March, where he submitted Donald Sanchez via first round triangle choke.

When and if Kawajiri will join One FC’s featherweight division remains to be seen, but the Japanese fighter brings with him a loyal following which are sure to take note of the young promotion.
