Two of the bantamweight division’s rising stars are set to scrap in December as part of UFC on FOX 5, as Mike Easton and TJ Dillashaw have agreed to face off on the preliminary portion of the card. Both men will enter the bout with a winning streak on the line in addition to any hopes of fighting for the title in 2013.
UFC officials have confirmed the clash.
The 13-1 Easton has emerged with his hand raised in eight straight outings including a trio of tilts inside the Octagon. “The Hulk” was last seen outpointing Ivan Menjivar in July.

Dillashaw has also only tasted defeat a single time in his career, holding a 6-1 mark with perhaps his most impressive performance to date coming at UFC on Fuel 4 where he submitted Vaughan Lee halfway through the opening round.
The December8 show is headlined by lightweight champion Benson Henderson putting his belt on the line against polished pugilist Nate Diaz. Other notable bouts include BJ Penn-Rory MacDonald and Mauricio Rua-Alexander Gustafsson.
