Dana White: “Everyone on TUF 17 is scared of this one guy…”

Stop us if you have heard this one before from the UFC‘s head honcho – “This season of The Ultimate Fighter is the best one yet.”

It seems UFC President Dana White dusted off that old chestnut just in time  for Christmas in relation to TUF 17, stating, “This time it’s different.” According to White, this season has a cast member that is scaring the daylights out of the rest of the cast, and it even prompted one fighter to have a nervous breakdown in the house.

Dana  White told ESPN:

“I know you guys are going to call bullshiit on me and all that, but  this next season is so awesome and so badass. We have a guy on this season of The Ultimate Fighter, every fight he’s in, someone goes to the hospital.”

The whole house is terrified of this guy. F’cking terrified. Everybody….I picked this fight, and this guy is lined up with the guy I’m telling you about, and the guy has a nervous breakdown in the house over the weekend. Has a f’cking nervous breakdown. Freaks out and has a nervous breakdown… This guy scared the living sh’t out of everyone. It’s awesome.”

The new season kicks off January 22nd and features the Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones who will be coaching against Chael Sonnen. The show will debut on their new day and time on FX.
