Due to a lack of a sanctioning body in Brazil, the UFC handled the issuing of medical suspensions internally for UFC 153. Eight additional fighters received minor suspensions, including light heavyweight headliner Stephan Bonnar, who will be sidelined 45 days, with no contact permitted for 30 days.
