After a week off to celebrate Thanksgiving, Bellator is back tonight with a show where one man will emerge with a shot at divisional gold! Headlining Bellator 82, welterweight tournament finalists Lyman Good and Andrey Koreshkov will face off for a crack at the winner of an eventual title-bout between champ Ben Askren-Karl Amoussou.
The 14-2 Good has looked sharp as of late in his attempt to reclaim the top spot in the company’s class of 170-pounders, picking up two TKOs during the three-fight run he’s currently on. Comparably, Koreshkov is unbeaten thus far twelve tilts into his career, finishing eleven of the foes he’s faced.
As always, Five Ounces of Pain will be tuned in and relaying results back to readers as they unfold in real time. The show kicks off at 7:00 PM EST on Spike.com before MTV2/EPIX take over an hour later with the main card clashes.
