Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson will defend his belt against Nate Diaz, Shogun will fight Gustafsson, and the triumphant return of BJ Penn who is taking on Rory MacDonald. Benson Henderson vs. Nate Diaz
Round 1
Diaz stalking early, and eating kicks from Henderson. They clinch, and Henderson clinches Diaz up against the fence working knees. Henderson looking for a takedown from the clinch, but doesn’t get it. Henderson dives for a lwg, and gets the takedown in the scramble. Nate scrambles up after eating some shots from Henderson. Henderson pressing Diaz on the fence again. Diaz pressing forward, but Henderson returns fire with a combination.
Round 2
Diaz takes the center. Diaz ducks under a punch, but after some clinching Henderson gwta the takedown. Diaz scrambles up after eating some shots, and eats a head kick on the break. Henderson back to clinching with Diaz on the fence, and working some dirty boxing. Henderson really working the low leg kick, and it’s paying dividends. Henderson lands a left that drops Diaz, and Henderson closes in for the kill. Henderson lands some gnp, but Diaz pops up. Henderson back to clinch fighting on the cage.

Henderson back to work on the lead leg of Diaz, but Diaz is still coming forward. Diaz lands a solid combination, but Henderson shrugs it off. Henderson ducks under a punch, and takes Diaz down. Diaz scrambles up fast though, and gets put back down. Diaz working from his back, and Henderson works some gnp. Diaz forces a scramble, and keeps attacking the legs of Henderson. They scramble up. Diaz eats a big right hand and gets dropped. Henderson lands more shots, but Diaz taunts him from his back. Diaz rolls for a leg again.
Round 4
After some exchanging Henderson gets the trip, and takes the back of Diaz. Diaz keeps scrambling up from these takedowns, but he is eating shots in the process. Henderson working some ground and pound from half guard, and Diaz is framing up a kimura. Henderson scrambles back up t the top, and is really tearing up Diaz with the ground and pound. Henderson now standing and hitting Diaz on the ground. Diaz gets up, and right away Henderson hits the leg.

Round 5
Diaz coming forward early, but Henderson clinches with him and pushes him up against the fence. Henderson clearly looking to ride the decision out on Diaz, and is just controling Diaz. Henderson picks up Diaz and drops him on hs back. Henderson is landing some serious ground and pound but he is standing. Diaz scrambles up, but Henderson clinches again. Diaz keeps trying to frame up the kimura from the clinch, but Henderson just powers out of it. Diaz gets up and gets a takedown. Henderson is having none of it, and pops up. Diaz taunts Henderson a little bit, but Henderson doesn’t bite. Diaz throws one last shot that looks to land, but Henderson shrugs it off. clean sweep for Henderson.

Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Alexander Gustafsson
Round 1
Gustafsson out early as Rua takes the center. Gustafsson catches Rua with a straight right and he drops, Gustafsson swarms but Shogun attacks with a knee bar. They scramble to their feet. Big takedown for Gustafsson , but Rua stands up. Gustafsson eats a right hand, and Rua takes him down and he pops back up. Shogun using his leg kicks well and is stalking Gustafsson. Fighters clinch and Gustafsson lands a big knee.

Round 2
Shogun coming forward early, but Gustafsson weathers the storm. Rua is getting the timing down of Gustafsson, and is landing more frequently. Gustafsson dives for a takedown, but Rua stuffs it. Gustafsson works some dirty boxing against the fence. Rua goes for an inside trip, but Gustafsson lands on top and goes to work. Gustafsson pops up, and backs off. Rua lands a solid combination, but Gustafsson seems unphased. Gustafsson ducks a punch, and gets the takedown. Rua gets up. Gustafsson gets the sweep, Rua pops up but eats some knees for his troubles. Gustafsson lands an uppercut and a huge knee, and the blood starts flowing.

Gustafsson coming forward, and eats a few punches and knees. Gustafsson gets a takedown after a scramble, but both fighters pop up. Rua still coming forward with strikes, but the ones landing don’t seem to be bothering Gustafsson. Gustafsson ducks under a telegraphed punch from Gustafsson, and gets the takedown. He lets Shogun up, after some GnP. Gustafsson lands a huge shot to the liver, and Shogun seems hurt. Gustafsson now picking his shots and looking for the finish. Gustafsson lands a front kick to the chin of Rua, and Shogun gets on his bike. Gustafsson gets a final takedown, and the bell rings.

B.J. Penn vs. Rory MacDonald
Round 1
BJ comes out early and pushes MacDonald up against the fence. Now they are reversing back and forth, and MacDonald is working knees. BJ stalking MacDonald but MacDonald is using his jab well. MacDonald using the low leg kicks well on BJ, and trying to set up the head kick. BJ lands a right hand, and takes down MacDonald but he pops right back up. MacDonald lands a straight that wobbles BJ, and MacDonald is teeing off on him but picking his shots. MacDonald lands some closing shots, and the round ends.

Round 2
MacDonald the fresher fighter, and is picking his shots. BJ still stalking though. MacDonald is landing at will on BJ, and BJ doesn’t really have an answer for much of it as Rory lands his jab whenever he wants. BJ is still landing strikes. MacDonald lands a body kick that folds BJ over, and Rory starts lighting him up. Herb Dean is threatening to stop the fight. BJ lands one counter shot, but MacDonald seems to be toying with him. BJ is back to stalking MacDonald. MacDonald dives in for the takedown with thirty seconds left.

Round 3
MacDonald right back to landing the jab, but BJ comes forward swinging. BJ almost gets the takedown, but MacDonald reverses and holds him against the fence. MacDonald s clearly the fresher fighter, and BJ looks terrible. MacDonald now coming forward and showing off with some shuffling in front of Penn. Penn coming forward and landing but they really have nothing on them. Round ends with a flurry from MacDonald, and an easy decision.

Mike Swick vs. Matt Brown
Round 1
Brown comes out stalking, as both feel each other out. Brown seems to be quicker, but he keeps he wading in with his hands down. Brown catches a kick, and pulls Swick down, and starts working in a darce choke, and Brown seems to have it locked up. Swick waits out Brown, and he gives it up. Swick is now in full guard of Brown, but Brown is staying busy on his back. Brown locks up the triangle, and Swick falls to his butt to defend it. Brown lets go, and they both stand. The round ends with Swick holding Brown up against the fence.

Brown coming forward early in the round, and is working the body of Swick with knees in the clinch. Both fighters are clinching back and forth and throwing knees, and they up with Swick holding Brown against the fence. Brown back to walking down Swick, and lands a left hook-straight right and drops Swick-who goes over like a tree. Brown swarms, and puts away Swick.

Jeremy Stephens vs. Yves Edwards
Round 1
Stephens comes out with a flying knee and completely misses. Stephens coming forward, and Edwards wants to grapple. Edwards already having a hard time getting it down to the floor. Edwards lands a counter hook and Stephens drops down to the floor. Edwards swarmed in and finished him with elbows from side mount.
