UFC 153 Update: Diego Brandao vs. Joey Gambino Expected

TUF 14 winner Diego Brandao will head home to his native country of Brazil for his next fight in the Octagon against Joey Gambino. UFC 153 takes place October 13 live from the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Brandao tweeted the bout announcement earlier today.

Both fighters will be looking to bounce back from losses in their last bouts. Brandao dropped a decision to Darren Elkins at UF 146 after looking strong early. Gambino was dominated by Steven Siler in his UFC debut at UFC on FX 4.

UFC 153 takes place October 13 at the HSBC Arena. The bout will be headlined by a featherweight title fight between the champion Jose Aldo and Erik Koch. The fight card will also feature a middleweight match up between Alan Belcher and Vitor Belfort, as well as the TUF Brazil champions  in their first respective fights since winning at UFC 147.
