Two UFC heavyweights who love to throw bombs have apparently signed for a showdown the organization returns to Montreal for UFC 154, as news has surfaced stating Brendan Schaub will meet Lavar Johnson at the event. Fifteen of Johnson’s seventeen total wins have involved a strike-based stoppage while seven of Schaub’s eight have also come by way of TKO.
The November 17 card is expected to be headlined by a unification bout between welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and interim title-holder Carlos Condit.
MMAJunkie was first to report the match-up.

Schaub is coming off back-to-back losses after racking up four straight instances of success inside the Octagon. The former Ultimate Fighter finalist holds past victories over Gabriel Gonzaga and Mirko Filipovic.
Comparably, Johnson was on the cusp of a 3-0 record in the UFC before falling to Stefan Struve in May. His two triumphs under the organization’s banner came against Joey Beltran and Pat Barry.
