Josh Koscheck meets Jake Ellenberger in co-main event of UFC 151

A welterweight clash between Josh Koscheck and Jake Ellenberger will serve as the co-main event of UFC 151 on September 1st. UFC officials announced the high profile match-up on Wednesday.

Both welterweights will look to rebound from setbacks in their most recent bouts. Koscheck (17-6), a former title challenger, came up on the wrong side of a split decision to Johny Hendricks at UFC on Fox 3. Ellenberger (27-6) saw his six fight winning streak come to an end with a technical knockout loss to Martin Kampmann at The Ultimate Fighter Live Finale.

UFC 151 takes place from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The main event of the fight card features light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones defending his title against Dan Henderson.
