Middleweight contender Chris Weidman’s withdrawal from a December 29 tilt with Tim Boetsch at UFC 155 was disappointing to say the least. The 28-year old was forced out of the fight when he injured his shoulder while training to the point surgery was required.
Luckily, it sounds like Weidman won’t be out of commission for too long, as he’s already gone under the knife to repair the damage and has been told he should be back in action by March.
“Surgery went perfect. On my way back to Long Island now. Had a torn labrum and rotator cuff, AC joint separation and slight tear in the ligament. I will be 90-percent in three months and 100 in four!”
“Gonna make it my life mission to come back better than ever.”
