It would appear the legal issues of Tyson Nam are over. The Portland native, who earned the biggest win of his career hitherto last month by knocking out Bellator bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas at Shooto 33, has found himself embattled with the Bellator over his contract rights. According to the bantamweight, the problem has been resolved as the promotion has opted to not match the offer put in place by the highest bidder.
World Series of Fighting, who had been courting Nam to face former WEC Bantamweight Champion Miguel Torres at their inaugural event on November 3, is now the new home of the heavy-handed Hawaiian. It still remains unclear as to whether or not the Portland native will compete at the event, but he can now rest easy and once again focus on his career.
