That's the word from UFC director of Canadian operations Tom Wright, who revealed the fight-announcing press conference during Thursday's pre-fight press conference for Saturday's UFC 152 event.
St-Pierre's bout with Carlos Condit will be officially announced, and tickets for the Nov. 17 event at Bell Centre will go on sale next week as well.
The UFC Welterweight Champion will be back in action for the first time in 20 months, after undergoing knee surgery for a torn ACL in December. He'll take on the Interim Champ in Condit, who defeated Nick Diaz in February.
Penick's Analysis: Though St-Pierre's imminent return is something to celebrate, and will be highly anticipated, until he steps foot in the cage on Nov. 17 there will be a lingering concern about injury. His last two scheduled fights were derailed by injury setbacks, and though he's been cleared for action here, the fact that he's coming off of surgery and has battled these knee issues for the last year don't breed confidence. Especially with the other injuries that the UFC has faced this year. I want nothing more than to see St-Pierre step in the cage on Nov. 17, but I'm as wary as anyone about the fight happening until it happens.
