Bellator allowing fans to pick first Spike TV bout with "Vote For the Fight" promotion

Bellator will make their Spike TV debut this January with their eighth season, and they'll kick things off with a welterweight fight. They're just not sure which one yet.

Bellator is running a "Vote For the Fight" promotion this fall to allow fans to decide the first fight shown on Spike TV. Fans can choose between Paul Daley, Ben Saunders, Douglas Lima, and War Machine.

"As we prepare for our long awaited debut on Spike TV this January, we've assembled four of the most exciting welterweights on the planet, and we're letting our fans vote on who they want to see kick off the first ever Bellator fight on Spike TV," said Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney.

The organization began running a web series on Thursday night, and new episodes will be running weekly, going behind the scenes with each fighter as they prepare for the Spike event.
