Less than 24 hours after it was announced that former UFC interim heavyweight champion Shane Carwin was injured, and out of his Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale bout with Roy Nelson, the UFC have announced his replacement. At the finale, scheduled for December 8 in Las Vegas, Matt Mitrione will step in and fight “Big Country”. Sources confirm that the fight has been agreed to by both camps.
