One FC Cancels December Show, Looking to Return in February in the Philippines

It would appear that ONE FC has cancelled their seventh promotional offering, which was slated to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this coming December. The Singapore-based promotion has cited “lack of venue options and availability” as the reason for the cancellation.

One FC is now looking to launch a stacked February event, which will mark their return to the Manila, Philippines.

The opening round of the promotion’s Flyweight Grand Prix is slated to be on the bill. While the participants have yet to be announced, former Shooto champion “B.J.” Kojima and URCC champion Roy Docyogen have both been rumored to be involved. The promise of a “stacked card” likely means that they shall feature Kotetsu Boku’s first title defense against former DREAM champion Shinya Aoki.
