Dana White expecting Anderson Silva vs. GSP bout, thinks Silva vs. Jon Jones a possibility as well

"As you start to get to a point where Anderson is in his career – he's beat everybody, he's broken every record in UFC history – if he wins against Georges St-Pierre, I guarantee you he'll be eyeballing Jon Jones next... Anderson and 'GSP' were talking like they didn't want to fight. Now if he beats Condit, meaning Georges St-Pierre, he wins this Carlos Condit fight, he's saying he wants to fight Anderson, and Anderson is saying he wants to fight him. That fight will probably happen first... Anderson and Jones are saying, 'Hey, we're buddies,' or 'We don't want to fight' or whatever the deal is. But [Jones] didn't want to fight Rashad either, and that happened."

-UFC President Dana White talks to AXS TV's "Inside MMA" program about the two potential super fights facing UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva (transcribed by MMAJunkie.com).

Penick's Analysis: An Anderson Silva-Jon Jones fight is in many ways a lot more appealing than the GSP-Silva fight. It's a fresher matchup, Silva has fought at light heavyweight before, and the size difference isn't as big of an issue in that fight. Whether or not White's contention about that fight is accurate, it's a fight that will be talked about as a super fight until Jones opts to make the move to the heavyweight division. With that said, if the UFC manages to put together a GSP-Silva bout that Silva wins, then manages to put together Silva-Jones, it would be one hell of a year for fights in the Octagon.
